How you’ll help us.Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Legal and Compliance Manager, as part of the role, you’ll:

• Support the business by handling legal matters such as responding to requests, drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements, legal documents, letters, handle terminations.
• Assist with practical tasks such as the signature process and creating summaries.
• Work with the team and outside counsel to assess legal risks, implement procedures and guidelines and – where necessary – point projects in the right direction.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Operations and HR on legal matters.
• Focus on areas including commercial contracts, corporate law, consumer law, e-commerce/IT, privacy, real estate, competition law, and KYC matters.

More about you.

• Qualified lawyer, preferably in an EU jurisdiction.
• Up to three years’ working experience, preferably as an in-house counsel in an international organization within the retail and/or sports industry.
• Fluency in English is essential, preferably fluent in another EU language.
• ASICS is a sports and retail company – this requires an ability to think and act fast and give quick and punchy legal advice.
• Understanding of and/or willingness to learn global business practices.
