This is an entry level technical field service role where you support customers directly by working on-site with them. Your main role is to make sure their equipment, systems, or instruments are installed correctly, running smoothly, repaired quickly, and optimized for performance.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities
• Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently
• Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
• Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately
• Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service
• Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures

This position requires regular travel to clients located in the Puglia, Basilicata, and Calabria regions, as well as occasional support for additional customers across Italy when required. A company car will be provided for your convenience.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:

• University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar completed within the last two years
• Practical experience with GC vacanciesineu.com GCMS, gained either through technical support or as an end user of these systems (1–2 years of experience)
• Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading & understanding).
• A valid driving license.

On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team, and to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
