Role- Graduate Controls Engineer

Salary- £26,000- £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent

Location- Berkshire

My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis, in the Berkshire area.

The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:

– Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
– Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems – Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar
– Any CAD skills would be beneficial
– Knowledge of Ethernet, Profibus or similar would be ideal but not essential
– Have excellent hands-on capabilities too with panel building and wiring 
– Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
– Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:

– Working within the existing engineering technical team
– Being involved in automation projects
– Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
– Working on PLC’s, panels, wiring
– Producing the required technical documentation too
– Interfacing with customers when required
– Some travel to customer sites will be involved too
