- Support imec’s international focus, via strong project management skills, bringing together cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach,
- Use project management tools to track project timelines, risks, deliverables, and progress,
- Developing, advising, implementing innovative government affairs policy to support the international objectives of imec,
- Partner with external policy stakeholders and support the positive reputation for imec amongst policy makers at European and national level,
- Actively monitor, research, and analyze EU and national policy and regulatory developments, and overall political environment,
- Communicate through regular written, verbal and virtual updates to internal imec stakeholders.

Who you are
- Degree in Politics, Communications, Public Relations, or similar experience. But above all, a keen fascination for the interplay between policy and the innovation landscape.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, and bringing internal teams together,
- Between 4-8 years of experience in European government relations, public affairs, or similar roles, preferably also experience in government relations activities at Member State level.
- Extensive knowledge of EU institutions, and EU decision making process,
- Team player mentality, motivated self-starter able to work independently.
- Fluent in English and at least one other European language,
- Ability to build and develop effective relationships with the business and policy community.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
