Hoofdorpp/HybridDanone Cycles & Procurement is looking for a Global Senior Buyer within the Indirect Professional Service team.The Global Senior Buyer will work in close cooperation with the Global stakeholders, Zone and Country Business Units procurement & stakeholder’s organization to cover Danone Business requirements & sourcing on the following area of spend: Fleet, Travel, Meetings and Event, International Mobility and Insurance.The position will report to Global Sourcing Manager Travel, MICE and C&B.Spend: ~530k€Key responsibilities:Category management:

• Develop category strategies & roadmap with business stakeholders for the different categories in scope. Deliver value for money in accordance with procurement strategy and business plans.
• Structure a procurement approach to deliver a continuous sustainable productivity per year and maximizing the business value
• Develop or reinforce connection to market via suppliers, conferences, market studies to continuously track best in class practices and market trends to capture supplier innovation and support Danone development and business digital transformation
• Build strong procurement toolkit & methodology on specific area of spend and lead on-boarding of zones and CBUs via focused communication
• Animate the procurement network to capture needs, share best practices, prioritize projects and deliver sustainable results in categories in scope

Sourcing:

• Source and benchmark global category suppliers on a regular basis
• Drive consolidation of spend and negotiation leverage with stakeholders at regional and country level when it makes sense
• Launch RFI/RFQ to select, engage, and manage supply base for the global categories in responsibility
• Ensure that Danoners can use recommended solutions in best conditions of cost, quality & security
• Work in collaboration with Legal partner to execute professional services agreements and drive efficient contract management process. Ensure contract delivery & application of negotiated conditions
• Support stakeholders in purchasing process on critical spend & suppliers relationship management

Relationship Management:

• Business Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with global stakeholders & regional/local procurement. Able to assess stakeholders’ needs and recommend optimal sourcing solution.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Define and follow scorecard to monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement plans. Animate suppliers’ performance with stakeholders; manage disputes. Drive innovation from supplier.

Procurement Financials:

• Lead cost optimization program on all sourcing category in scope. Lead quarterly category review meetings with Finance and business partner
• Track & Monitor savings initiatives in collaboration with Finance business partner
• Deliver cash improvements

Best In Class procurement:

• Promote and support the implementation and the compliance to procurement processes, policies and tools
• Participate to workshops and procurement continuous improvement initiatives

• At least 7 years of working experience as indirect sourcing professional, with 2 years experience in Fleet.
• BA or equivalent in business or a technical discipline.
• Master’s Degree in procurement desirable.
• Experience of procurement category management ideally some of which in current scope.
• Strong ability and track record of convincing stakeholder to bring success together.
• Autonomy & agility to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
• Adaptable & experience in working in an international environment.
• Business acumen & results oriented.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Agile in remote matrix management between functions & countries.
• Track record of successful change management in a complex organization.
• Fluent in English.
