Seedlip is present in 37 countries, distributed through a combination of integrated Diageo markets and 3rd party partnerships. Lead markets are North America, UK, Australia and Asia.

The brand target the premium/super-premium category space and there is a clear portfolio and customer role for Seedlip to halo the non alcohol opportunity alongside the launch of 0.0% Diageo spirits innovations such as Tanqueray, Gordon’s, Guiness and others.

Throughout F24 we have renovated the Seedlip marketing footprint with new media model, new social strategy and disruptive content activation . However, there is more we can do to continue improving our consumer proposition.

A core part of this role is evolving the portfolio, including base liquid & further flavours, and to build exciting On Trade programs to excite bartenders, clients and consumers.

As Diageo’s most digital-native brand, transform D2C will be a critical piece of work in the new fiscal year. We want to continue acting as a highly relevant, market-leading brand.

This is a highly visible brand internally and externally, with a Founder who remains involved.

Leadership looks like:

  • Inspiring a global community of brand builders, both marketers and commercial teams, to grow the business

  • Building a strong sense of team spirit within and across markets

  • Inspiring and managing a complex roster of creative agencies to deliver compelling brand communications

  • Standing for what is right for the brand, challenging where appropriate

  • Strong partnership with non-alc innovation on wider category strategy

  • Commercial nous to manage day to day issues that arise on the brand, particularly with distributors / 3rd parties and eCom

  • Own and drive the Brand strategy, ambition and execution, inspiring, engaging and managing

  • Develop stellar campaign and marketing comms for Seedlip to build culture back talkability for the brands

  • Support our digital & eCom leads to deliver greater global digital impact, with more effective digital comms and a continual improvement in our eCom execution

  • Be the expert in the non-alc category, gathering learnings across markets and reapplying them, working closely with legal, supply and finance to share and educate on some of the key challenges and how they can be overcome

  • Brilliant execution of plans with strong hands-on attitude

Top Accountabilities:

  • Create a culture-back brand plan for Seedlip, that can generate impact in key markets that belies our size – particular focus on building a strong influencer strategy across GB and NAM and aligning / finalising a global serve strategy

  • Execute a strong innovation pipeline that continues to build brand relevancy

  • Deliver industry-leading digital activation

  • Respond quickly to opportunities and challenges across markets and functions (supply, finance), taking advantage of a plethora of brand-building opportunities and resolving problems at pace

  • Manage brand acquisition business case and track performance

  • Guarantee agility of execution, bringing plan to life with speed.

  • P&L management

To be successful in role, you will need:

  • Proven Brand management experience

  • Creative flair, with excellent attention to detail

  • Proven track record of brand strategy development and flawless activity implementation

  • Experiential experience (strategy and activation) a must – agency experience is a plus but not a mandatory – and a deep-rooted understanding of what creates best in class brand experience and brand story-telling across markets

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, innovative and problem-solving, resilient and willing to break through major barriers

  • Very strong relationship builder, comfortable communicating at the most senior levels of Diageo
