Job Description:Are you as excited as we are when we talk about the storage and distribution of bulk liquids with our state-of-the-art tank containers and in our terminals located in key markets?We are looking for a hands-on Global Safety Coordinator who possesses strong communication and organizational skills. Your role will encompass enhancing and coordinating our Safety procedures within Stolthaven Terminals globally.Stolthaven Terminals a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.What will you be doingYour role will involve overseeing the implementation of safety improvement programs, standards, and systems. By collaborating with the Safety management team, you will play a crucial role in achieving excellence and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Terminals.Marco Dalmeijer-Global Business Director: “Our goal is to provide high quality storage and distribution services whilst safeguarding the safety, health, environment, and security of our employees, our contractors, customers, and the products we handle. This requires a culture in which Safety Management is core to everything we do”.Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement enhancements to safety management programs and systems to ensure ongoing improvement.
  • You will be in charge of ensuring the proper utilization and management of information systems that are crucial for maintaining safety.
  • Ensure that the terminals have well-developed Business Continuity plans and Emergency Response Plans in place. These plans should be implemented, maintained, and tested through training and scenario exercises.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders in Stolthaven Terminals to facilitate effective collaboration on regulatory, environmental, and emergency issues.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze safety trends and statistics of critical performance indicators, providing detailed reports to the management team.
  • You will be responsible for crafting captivating campaigns and ensuring our adherence to the latest industry regulations and standards, both domestically and globally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in equivalent role in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Prior experience with safety management in relevant industry will be considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in English both in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and set goals.
  • Being flexible is crucial for this role, as it may require frequent international travel to our various terminals.
