If so, we invite you to join Novo Nordisk as our new Global Project Lead within the Diabetes Strategic Projects team.
The position
As Global Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading high-priority strategic projects across the late-stage Diabetes portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in leading asset deliverables, indi-rectly leading matrix teams to drive strategic projects and land recommendations with govern-ance. You will be at the heart of shaping commercial strategies, aligning diverse stakeholders and driving successful implementation of critical strategic priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Lead strategic portfolio projects
· Development and execution of asset strategies, ensuring collaboration with cross-func-tional stakeholders to translate scientific, clinical, and regulatory insights into tangible commercial market opportunities
· Owning competitive asset Target Product Profile (TPP) development anchored in unmet patient needs and competitive positioning
· Conducting market research to analyse market trends and dynamics that impact asset strategy and positioning
· Ensure portfolio-wide perspective in asset development, balancing strategic fit, resource allocation, risk profile, and long-term value creation across the Diabetes portfolio
Drive strategic analyses and recommendations
· Support business cases and strategic evaluations for investment, prioritization, and re-source allocation decisions.
· Translate complex insights into compelling narratives and decision materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
Ensure cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement
· Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Medical, Development, Market Access, Operations, Digital, Finance, Product Supply, and other key functions
· Drive alignment among global, regional, and affiliate stakeholders on strategic priorities and project deliverables
This role is based in Søborg, Denmark, and requires on-site presence.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
· Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related discipline. MBA or PhD is considered an advantage.
· 2-4 years of relevant experience within management consulting, commercial asset de-velopment, new product planning or investment banking focused on asset valuation
· Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives with significant business impact
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic recommendations
· Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority in a matrix environment
· Experience preparing executive-level communications, governance materials, and stra-tegic recommendations
· Fluency in written and spoken English.
It would be considered an advantage if you have:
· Experience within diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, or other chronic disease ar-eas.
· Experience from a top-tier management consulting firm.
· Experience working across global pharmaceutical organizations.

The Diabetes Strategic Projects team is responsible for leading high-priority strategic initiatives that shape the future direction of Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes business. The team works across or-ganizational boundaries to address complex business challenges, support strategic decision-making, and drive implementation of initiatives with significant enterprise-wide impact.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742.600 DKK to 1.091.600 DKK corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
