Job Title: Global Product Manager – Bran+Luebbe Pumps
Location: UK remote
Working model: hybrid/remote plus business travel
Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Product Manager to oversee the Bran+Luebbe (B+L) pump product line. This individual will be responsible for driving double-digit year-over-year growth, managing the product lifecycle, and delivering innovative solutions that align with the long-range plan (LRP) and annual operating plan (AOP) objectives. The ideal candidate will partner with commercial teams to improve market share, focusing on key global accounts and high potential markets. This role requires a deep understanding of process industries, global markets, and metering and dosing pump technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product & Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a global product and brand strategy for Bran+Luebbe pumps, aligned with LRP and AOP growth targets. Drive double-digit growth by identifying and executing growth opportunities and improving the value stream for the brand.
- Market Insights & Commercial Collaboration: Deliver market and competitive insights to support strategic business decisions, partnering with commercial teams to improve market positioning and market share, while maintaining a focus on global key accounts.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, including New Product Development (NPD) and Vitality Index, Product Roadmaps, and Product Optimization strategies. Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to drive product innovation.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Take ownership of the go-to-market strategy for B+L pumps, ensuring alignment with market data and region-specific and market-specific growth opportunities, particularly in underpenetrated markets like North America.
- Product Competitiveness: Partner with Commercial Team and Global Pricing Team to manage global pricing strategy, SDR, and price realization. Collaborate with engineering to deliver NPD aligned with market insights and optimize high-margin product lines. Partner with operations teams to embed VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) culture and improve product competitiveness.
- Aftermarket: Partner with Aftermarket (AM) teams to drive global strategies, improve capture rates, identify upsell opportunities, particularly in key accounts and offshore markets.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional Growth Team and initiatives involving commercial, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of product strategies and market objectives.
- Financial Accountability: Ensure the financial performance of the product line, meeting or exceeding bookings, revenue, and profitability targets. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress toward strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global product management, preferably within industrial pumps or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of global industrial markets, particularly chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage and oil & gas sectors.
- Proven experience in driving product innovation, lifecycle management, and pricing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills with a focus on strategic growth and financial performance.
- Experience in collaborating with engineering, commercial, and operations teams to drive product success.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 30%.
