Your new role
As a Global Payer Evidence Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our innovative therapies reach the patients who need them most. You’ll develop and execute payer evidence strategies that demonstrate the value of our portfolio to healthcare decision-makers worldwide, directly influencing reimbursement outcomes and patient access across diverse markets.
Your responsibilities will include:

-Leading payer evidence planning and long-term evidence strategies across our expanding portfolio, shaping how we demonstrate value to payers globally.
-Designing and overseeing payer-relevant clinical trials, pragmatic studies, and real-world evidence programs that address critical evidence gaps.
-Conducting sophisticated analyses from secondary data sources including patient-costed pathways, treatment patterns, burden of illness, and patient preference studies.
-Driving publication strategies and communicating scientific evidence through peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and posters to elevate our evidence base.
-Partnering with senior stakeholders across R&D, Medical Affairs, Commercial & Access, and key affiliates to align evidence strategies with market access goals.
-Supporting affiliates with HTA submissions and ad-hoc evidence requests to strengthen payer dialogues and reimbursement outcomes.
-Championing functional excellence through innovative methods, strategic partnerships with academia, and mentoring junior team members to elevate capabilities across Global Market Access.
Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximizing portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
Within Product & Portfolio Strategy, the Global Payer Evidence team plays a critical role in ensuring our innovative treatments gain market access worldwide. We generate robust health economics and outcomes research evidence that demonstrates value to payers, supporting reimbursement and HTA processes globally. Working at the intersection of science, strategy, and market access, we collaborate closely with R&D, regions, affiliates, and external partners to ensure our evidence meets the evolving needs of healthcare systems around the world.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for an experienced health economics and outcomes research professional who thrives in a global, strategic environment. You’ll bring:

-Master’s degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics or a related field, with documented training in HEOR.
-7-8 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy, with a strong publication track record in peer-reviewed journals.
-Proven expertise in designing and executing real-world evidence studies, payer-relevant research, and analyses using secondary data sources.
-Strategic mindset with exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior decision-makers at VP level and above.
-Business acumen with the ability to translate complex evidence into compelling narratives that drive patient access and reimbursement outcomes.
-Fluency in written and spoken English, with excellent scientific communication skills.
-Willingness to travel internationally to collaborate with regions and affiliates.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 816,800.00 to 1,200,700.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
