Shape the evidence that opens doors for millions of patients. In this role, you will lead the strategies, studies and partnerships that turn scientific data into meaningful payer access – influencing how our therapies reach the people who need them most.

Your new role

As Global Payer Evidence Lead, you will set the direction for payer evidence across our portfolio, working at the intersection of science, market access and commercial strategy. You will lead complex, high-visibility projects with senior stakeholders across the organisation while driving functional excellence and innovation in evidence generation.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

-Leading the initiation, development and implementation of payer evidence strategies across the Obesity & MASH portfolio to optimize access & reimbursement
-Leading evidence and value generation including real world evidence and economic modelling(e.g. patient costed pathways, treatment patterns, patient preference studies, cost and burden of illness)
-Leading publication strategies and the communication of scientific evidence through abstracts, posters and peer-reviewed publications
-Leading affiliate support for reimbursement and Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) submissions
-Translate complex health economic and RWE (Real-World Evidence)into clear, payer relevant value narratives that support market access and commercial objectives (e.g. expert input to payer value story development)

-Manage multiple evidence projects, associated budgets and external & internal partners, while ensuring a high level of scientific rigor and alignment with stakeholders.

-Effectively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders – including Key Opinion Leaders, academic partners, and colleagues across commercial, Medical Affairs, Real World Data & Science, regions and affiliates

Your new department

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream. 

Within this area, you will join a team at the forefront of market access innovation, working at the intersection of commercial strategy, health economics and payer engagement. Your work will directly influence how millions of patients access treatment, and you will operate with a high degree of independence while collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will represent Novo Nordisk in strategic discussions with private health insurance and employers, advocating for the value of our solutions at the highest levels. 

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a strategic and scientifically grounded leader who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and is energised by the opportunity to influence access decisions at a global level. To succeed in this role, you bring:

-A university master’s degree in a relevant field such as health economics, public health, epidemiology or statistics/biostatistics, or related field
-At least 6 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research or related field within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy, with a proven scientific publication track record in peer-reviewed journals
-Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage with senior leaders and external KOLs
-Business acumen and a strategic, operational and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify solutions and influence decisions that advance both patient access and business goals
-Excellent interpersonal skills and full fluency in written and spoken English

For this role, the

alary ranges from
816,800.00 to 1,200,700.00 DKK,
corresponding to the level of the position.

The
placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
