Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Global Medical Affairs Senior Manager – Infusion Care you’ll do the same.The Role:The Senior Manager, Strategic Medical Affairs (SMA) for Infusion Care (IC) is responsible to lead and develop the strategy clinical strategy with evidence generation plans and support building best-in-class safety and performance governance and medical competence knowledge in diabetes melitus and parkinson diseases for infusion care.. He/she will collaborate with all the colleagues in the region and globally who are responsible for the Strategic Medical Affairs initiatives; and develop and execute strategies to share and learn best practices in Infusion Care . The role will develop enduring relationships with healthcare practitioners, clinical investigators, and healthcare decision makers to provide medical and scientific support for selected therapeutic areas.Duties & Responsibilities:Demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence internal stakeholders at all levels and develops relationships outside of ConvaTec and e.g., regulatory agencies, key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, advisory boards.Creates and communicates a high commitment to Medical Affairs, Medical Marketing and customer service which includes full consideration of the customer’s needs and ConvaTec’s strategic goals.Establishes and drives a compelling outcomes vision that enables ConvaTec to achieve its strategic goals for Infusion Care. Drives medical evaluation process to ensure safety, efficacy, quality, and medical usefulness of potential products.Anticipates future regulatory changes and impact on clinical trials and ultimately business success. Influences, develops and implements policy and procedures on a worldwide basis to control and ensures theProactively identify and enable new business development and strategically aligned opportunities for assigned therapeutic areasEstablish and maintain relationships among key opinion leaders in various practice settings and stakeholder groups in order to collect expert opinion and insight for grant and content developmentOversees the medical compliance and medical review of all promotional and advertising material, publications, and other audiovisual tools for Infusion Care.Attend and support scientific and medical meetings. Disseminate clinical and competitive insights within the organization and prepare post-meeting deliverables as needed

Present on company’s products and solutions to healthcare professionals including physicians, hospital and medical practitioners and advisory boards & committees, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dieticians and othersAbout you:Doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Sc.D. or Dr.P.H.) or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as, but not limited to, health services research, health outcomes, endocrinology, epidemiology, pharmacy administration, public health, economics, statistics or decision sciences;3-5 years experience in medical affairs leadership (preferable for medical device)Experience in outcomes research in medical device,Knowledge of health economics is highly desirable.Experience in development and fostering a diverse KOL groupDemonstrated leadership for clinical development programs , evidence based programs.Broad experience in collaborating with research partners and in managing multiple tasks and complex projects is expected.Excellent stakeholder management skills as well as a customer oriented approachOur transformation will change your career.
