We’re the independent minded and passionate achievers in the spirits industry, innovating the iconic.Be Part of Our Signature MixDuring 2022 Campari Group launched Advanced Integrated Planning program (AIP), a set of initiatives to enhance its end-to-end planning capabilities, aiming at increasing its agility in making business decisions.A key pillar of this program is the Demand and Supply Planning transformation, which will bring a renewed operating model for Demand and Supply planning, together with re-designed processes and a new planning tool (SAP IBP) with enhanced capabilities.Within this context, the newly created Center of Excellence (CoE) has the mission to ensure the continuous development of demand and supply planning capabilities within the Company, as well as their deployment and adoption among Regional Planning Teams.The Global Material Planning CoE Manager plays the role of capability owner for the entire area of material planning management, for which is responsible to drive continuous improvement and adoption in the Regions, cooperating with Regional CoEs and regional planning teams.Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Design material planning processes worldwide, KPIs and organizational models of material planning teams and ensure their continuous improvement;
  • Support CoE Director in defining the operating model for the material planning capabilities, including definition of target structure, job descriptions and sizing drivers;
  • Define capability framework required for the material planning community, perform regular capability assessments and designing upskilling programs with Talent Development/ Campari University;
  • Define process maturity assessment checklist and run the assessment in the Regions on a regular basis, identifying gaps vs. standard processes and defining gap-closing actions;
  • Define process compliance KPIs, defining targets with Region and monitoring gaps versus target, supporting Regional CoEs and Regional teams;
  • To work hand in hand with regional teams to identify opportunities to improve capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness on material planning and MRP;
  • Act as point of contact for Material Planning in global transformational initiatives led by other functions, highlighting integration areas with planning and supporting in designing the end-to-end process;
  • Define, together with CoE Director, Regional Leads and IT Business Partner the Material planning roadmap;
  • Follow-up with IT Business Partner any major global issue on planning systems;
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement leads on integration and continuous improvement points;
  • Partner with the CoE Reporting developing a new reporting environment which will visually support the decision-making.

Education and Experience required

  • Master Degree in scientific area (e.g. Engineering, economics, business administration)
  • 6+ years experience in planning roles preferably in the area of material planning in multinational companies
  • Experience in influencing and driving change in a multinational environment
  • Experience in process development and optimization

  • Strong change management skills
  • Good facilitation skills, effective in understanding the needs of all functions and translating them into requirements
  • Analytical mindset
  • Deep knowledge of planning tools (knowledge of SAP IBP is a plus)
  • Fluent in English, Italian is a plus
