Global Marketing Manager – Medical Devices
Our client, a well-established medical company is seeking a motivated person to join their International Surgical Marketing Department (Extremities and Fixation).Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Oversee and develop the team resources assigned to you.
* Market Research: Continuously gather and update market data, perform research and analysis on competitive products, support the creation of pricing strategies, and conduct market share analyses.
* Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product planning and execution throughout its local lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer and product requirements, supporting regional product strategies, and collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve objectives.
* Strategic Sales Planning: Ensure the sales and profitability of products, lines, or services by analyzing local market factors and trends. Execute strategic and tactical plans, including developing sales tools and collateral.
* Product Development Support: Work with upstream marketing functions and R&D for competitive analysis and product specifications. Formulate new product proposals, monitor competitive activity, and identify opportunities for new and existing product development. Propose strategies to management and support the creation of products that meet international market needs.
* Marketing Initiatives: Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows to market products and services. Develop and manage marketing activities and policies, collaborating with advertising, promotion managers, and local product managers.
* Sales and Product Support: Work with local marketing teams to prepare and provide product and service support materials to field personnel.
Background:
* Bachelor/Master Degree in Marketing and Communication, in alternative Bachelor/Master degree in Economics, Engineering or other Technical disciplines.
* Must have industry experience in Orthopaedics or Medical Devices, including 7+ years of marketing experience or combination of marketing and sales.
* Must have previous experiences in people-management.
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
* Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
* Fluent in English
* Ability to travel internationally (up to 25%)
