Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Center of Excellence Logistics and Customer&Collaboration Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to a COE Manager. The position will be based in Bologna.

You’ll contribute to knowledge management efforts that lay the groundwork for AI capabilities, assist in mapping value streams and processes to support organizational transformation, help define performance metrics for a centralized logistics data hub, and support the development of a partner lifecycle management framework within Operations Customer Services.

Specific responsibilities:

• contribute to knowledge management creation and initiatives as a foundation for enabling agentic AI capabilities;
• assist in value stream and process mapping to support the transition toward a process-driven organization;
• support the definition and implementation of KPIs for a centralized Logistics Data Hub;
• help develop and structure a framework for Partner Lifecycle Management within Operations Services.

Who we’re looking for:

• degree in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
• literacy in Office Suite (in particular PowerBI, Excel VBA);
• fluency in English and in Italian;
• analytical skills;
• interest in digital transformation, process design and AI-driven systems;
• ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment;
• familiarity with data visualization and process mapping tools is a plus.
