Sustainability is built into our business model – from our offices to our farming operations and supply chains, we’re acting across issues as diverse as farmer poverty, deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Non-Commodity Procurement, the Global IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for procurement of IT Procurement portfolio, position will develop, champion, and ensure implementation of ideas & strategies that will optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year. This position manages the strategic category management and sourcing activities for IT to include, but not limited to, IT Hardware, software, IT professional services, telecom, infrastructure, Software as a Service, subscription agreements, non-disclosure agreements, maintenance agreements, data processing agreements and technology agreements.Your main challenge will be to create, develop, and maintain a strategic sourcing plan for Global IT Procurement Category. In this position you will be directly supporting President & Chief Digital and Information Officer and their direct IT Regional/ Global leads, while working with stakeholders across 6 Business Units/Platforms.Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, drive and implement three-year plan for global IT category
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution/consolidation of key contracts with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of IT Goods and Services
  • Lead Contract Separation Novation from Olam
  • Build, manage lead-time, and lead RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and develop “should-cost” analysis
  • Develop market intelligence, sustainability, and risk management agenda
  • Project manage, build, identify, execute, and drive cost savings initiatives across the IT category, tracking progress against budget/savings and delivering regular reports to senior management
  • Responsible for procurement excellence topics related to IT category with main focus on design (e.g. Source to Pay process, spend classification, vendor master data etc.)
  • Supplier Relationship Management (incl. supplier segmentation, business review meetings, improvement projects etc.)
  • Stakeholder Management (monthly meetings, supporting their business requirements and identifying opportunity areas)
  • Develop and drive the organization to identify improvement areas and explore cost reduction opportunities; Connect with business/finance on saving reporting (with support of logistics analyst)
  • Partner with other functions on cross-functional projects (e.g. SAP S4Hana, global master data, sustainability reporting etc.)
  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process, from market research and supplier selection to contract negotiation and order placement.
  • Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of IT goods and services, such as software licenses, hardware devices, cloud services, network infrastructure, and telecom services.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with key IT suppliers and vendors, evaluating their performance and compliance, and resolving any issues or disputes.
  • Conducting regular market analysis and benchmarking to identify new opportunities and risks, and to optimize the IT procurement portfolio and budget.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or a certification in procurement, supply chain, or project management is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably in a global or regional role, with a proven track record of delivering results and savings.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT market trends, best practices, and vendor landscape, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing (7 steps) and supplier/contract management.
  • Data driven person with strong analytical skills.
  • Very good organizational skills and cross functional project management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others.
  • Nice to have: experience with tender tools such as Coupa / Ariba
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language. Additional languages are an asset
  • The ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time is required
  • Experience negotiating with SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc
