Would you like to join a global organization in which Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are put at the centre of our people practices?What is the job about?Reporting to the Vice President of People and Organization, the Global Head of DE&I will further guide and enable Grundfos’s DE&I ambition. They will continue our effort to implement our current DE&I strategy. At the same time, the qualified candidate will work on preparing the next DE&I strategy cycle, moving towards systemic integration of DE&I into people practices that support key business outcomes.They will be advisors for functional departments and senior leadership on DE&I matters) and provide thought leadership, ensuring our employees experience a culture of inclusion that leverages diverse backgrounds and perspectives of all employees.Your main responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of the DE&I strategy and ensure that our DE&I goals are met by 2025. Setup the conditions for a new DE&I strategy in 2025
  • With the DE&I council chair, lead the DE&I council, ensuring investments provide expected returns.
  • Work on further enabling and maturing ERGs and leverage the collective expertise and knowledge.
  • Support HR teams in designing and deploying equitable people practices.
  • Monitor DE&I metrics and assess their effectiveness. Propose enhancements where relevant. Assess the effectiveness of current initiatives.
  • Partner with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that we are ready to deliver on the CSRD.
  • Provide thought leadership on diversity, inclusion, and engagement across the organization.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to regularly communicate accomplishments, internally and externally.
  • Support a small team of DE&I practitioners and a substantial network of engaged employees and leaders (through the DEI Council and ERGs) – secure growth and engagement of the DE&I Team, leveraging on their unique proficiency and abilities.
  • Continuously work on awareness of DE&I matters, ensuring everybody has the right know-how to improve decision-making in DE&I matters.
  • Stay up to date on legal regulations and guidelines that affect DE&I efforts.

Your background:
Experiences that will make the candidate suitable for this role:

  • Has held at least one similar role in the past, operating globally.
  • Has ideally worked and lived abroad for several years.
  • Has designed and executed a DE&I strategy at least once. More concretely, it has effectively supported organizations in adopting a global approach to the relevant context and markets.
  • Has proven experience in leading teams, either directly or indirectly, for several years.
  • Experience in developing global teams and conducting large-scale change efforts and the ability to lead indirectly through others.
  • A previous relevant experience in another field of HR, either in talent management, leadership development, rewards, or business partnership.

Further skills and knowledge:

  • Significant knowledge of progressive people practices and how DE&I-related decisions impact those practices.
  • A solid ability to get things done through others without formal authority.
  • Resourceful in finding pragmatic solutions, working with the opportunities and constraints inherent to business life.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Workshop design and facilitation skills, in-person and in virtual settings.
  • A robust, established DE&I network would be welcome.
  • Experience in dealing with US-specific DE&I requirements and trends would be welcome.
