As a forward-thinking, listed company, we’re on a mission to drive change—and we’re looking for a sharp, ambitious Group Tax Manager to join us in shaping a greener, smarter financial future.As the Global Corporate Tax Manager, you will oversee global tax compliance, optimize tax reporting processes, and ensure alignment with international tax regulations.Your team:Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax, you will work closely with a small but diverse, multicultural team at our brand-new office in Nordhavn. This team enjoys a collaborative environment, with colleagues from different backgrounds who appreciate and support one another.Role overview:In this role, you will manage tax compliance and reporting, ensuring accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and year-end cycles. This includes preparing tax returns and maintaining detailed documentation throughout the reporting cycle. You will also spearhead the development of innovative reporting solutions while continuously refining internal policies, procedures, and automated controls.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, national, and international tax laws, including regulations on withholding taxes and dividends. Your role will involve conducting tax research, optimizing the company’s effective tax rate, and integrating new regulations, such as Pillar II, into the reporting framework. Additionally, you will handle tax-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, aligning them with both regulatory requirements and strategic objectives.Other Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax audits and manage disputes across various jurisdictions.
- Implement internal policies, procedures, and controls for operational handling of tax reporting.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
Educational Background:
- Master’s degree in business administration and Commercial Law, Accounting, Finance, Law or related field on similar level. These fields provide a solid foundation in understanding tax regulations and financial systems.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in a tax-related role, ideally within a large multinational company, or working in the tax department of a public accounting firm (e.g., Big Four).
- Experience with tax compliance, reporting, and planning: This includes experience managing tax audits and disputes, tax accounting, and preparing detailed tax returns.
- Familiarity with international tax matters, including transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and compliance with global tax regulations (e.g., BEPS, Pillar II).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations: Both local and international tax laws, regulations, and frameworks.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to assess tax implications and identify optimization opportunities.
- Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple tax-related projects, audits, and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
- Communication and leadership skills: For collaboration with finance, legal teams, and managing external stakeholders like tax authorities.
