With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people.We are currently seeking a Global Compliance and Sustainability Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco, Italy!The Global Compliance and Sustainability Senior Manager is responsible to make sure that engineering compliances in the NPDI process are met in a in a timely and cost-effective way. Documentation must be kept up-to date and this role is expected to be the single point of communication for matters of legal compliance.As regards sustainability, he/she will lead the development and execution of strategies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the company’s operations and product offerings. This role focuses on improving energy efficiency in HVAC systems, minimizing emissions, and promoting eco-friendly practices across all business activities.What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies to optimize energy efficiency in CW systems and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, standards, and certifications related to CW systems, including emissions, waste management, and energy consumption.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and enhance the use of renewable energy sources.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry-specific sustainability requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices in design, manufacturing, and service delivery.
  • Conduct sustainability audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Educate employees and clients on the benefits and implementation of sustainable HVAC solutions.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and industry groups, to stay current on sustainability best practices and compliance updates.
  • This position will ensure the company’s products and operations align with the highest sustainability standards, driving both environmental and business performance improvements.

What will make you successful?

  • 5-10 years of experience leading development teams and activities
  • Experienced in HVAC or cooling product design (or similar)
  • Degree qualified to Masters or Batchelors level (minimum) – Mechanical, Electrical or other Relevant Science
  • Enthusiastic, Imaginative and Intelligent
  • Strong Leadership – Leading by Example
  • Good Communicator
  • Data Centre Product Development & Engineering Design Experience
