A category that needs to rebuild and rethought as it is merged from two other categories across two legacy companies -new ways of thinking is needed combined with skills and knowledgeWelcome to our Strategic Procurement team -part of Global Direct Procurement.A team of highly engaged and experienced procurement professionals responsible for driving the global strategies and optimisations through the Global category management. Executing strategic procurement is linked through our colleagues located at key production sites in all regions of the world including Europe, India, Asia Pacific, and Americas. Our License to operate is to defend Novonesis profit margin and thereby enabler of company growth via better value creating procurement by balancing cost, risk and sustainabilityIn this role you’ll make an impact by:Being responsible for Global Category Management and developing the Process Aids category team across all regions.Create and develop this newly established categoryDevelop and implement a sustainable global category strategy aligned with Business needs.Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve value creation, cost savings and mitigate risks.Drive and foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality, sustainability, finance, and legal teams.Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, such as geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors.Delivering on global business targets and KPIs supporting the overall strategy and roadmap of Direct Procurement.

Deliver on future synergy opportunities.To succeed you must:Be an experienced Category Manager with minimum 3 years of strategic Procurement experience, combined with relevant education at master level within Business, Supply Chain, or relevant.Have experience within Biotech, Food, Life Science or similar regulated industries.Have proven experience as a Global Category Manager with a track record of successful strategic Procurement.Have a holistic, innovative, and strategic mind-set.Be passionate about category team Procurement skill development.Have strong negotiation and contract management skills.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Have effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal- & external stakeholders.Be comfortable working in a complex, changing, and global environment.Could our purpose be yours?
