Human by nature.Global Category Buyer – Your future role?As part of creating our new global Procurement organization, we are looking for a Global Category Buyer with an EMEA scope in the Nutrition & Health category.You will be based in Avignon, France, and will report to the Senior Category Manager Nutrition & Health.The role is open with a permanent contract (CDI).In this exciting role your main responsibilities will include:Sourcing Strategy:Help in the development of RM category strategiesAnalyze market and implement risk management strategies for the portfolio of Natural specialties (Plants and extracts)Where applicable, lead sourcing strategy development within cross-functional team for key categoriesManage sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and key negotiationsPortfolio Management:Negotiate contractselect, manage, and audit suppliersIdentify opportunities for portfolio optimization and involve creation and manufacturing in the development of optimization plansManage key supplier relationships, and lead supplier conflict resolutionsCommunicate with suppliers any forthcoming changes in demand/specificationsEnsure contract cover for materials and supplier compliance with contractsEnsure vendor performance at target levelsManage critical supply issues related to quality, and availability to find the best solution with internal stakeholders and suppliersStakeholder Relationship:Communicate with main internal stakeholders any market conditions changes which may affect the BusinessSupport the responsible sourcing projects implementation & provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager when neededWork on Scope 3 improvement with suppliers to reach our targets on CO2 emissionsCost Optimization:Provide information for business planning processDevelop cost reduction projectsProvide price forecast and market trends for key commoditiesYour professional profile includes:Agronomy or Agricultural University degree preferred or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in Procurement or functional experienceKnowledge of the F&F / Natural products industrySpecific technical and market knowledge in the respective categoryInternational exposure in previous roleFluent in French and EnglishWillingness to travel between 20-30% mainly within the regionOur benefits:Annual salary on 13.5 months with bonusHealth Insurance – mandatory (“mutuelle”)1 day home office opportunityIntéressement#LI-HybridAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
