Job description
- Coordinate and align the strategy of the Global Human Health Business Unit with the Country Business Managers of international subsidiaries, which act as local business units, ensuring local implementation of the global strategy.
- Ensure alignment and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy of the business unit at the global level with the overall company objectives and local objectives of each subsidiary.
- Build and manage the annual marketing and sales budget for the business unit.
- Manage all operations of the business unit in coordination with the various corporate divisions that support the business unit (Finance, IT, People, and Operations).
- Control the economic profitability and contribution of the business unit.
- Actively participate in decision-making regarding the development of new products.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in health.
- Create and identify opportunities for partnerships and synergies with potential business partners.
- Analyse the market in which the business unit operates (health care) to identify trends, opportunities, and threats (legal and regulatory aspects).
- Coordinate with the Innovation and Medical-Scientific Directorate to identify potential needs and value contributions for the business unit.
- Lead a multinational and multidisciplinary team that includes marketing, sales, and international subsidiaries.
- Ensure that all actions of the Human Health Business Unit comply with local and international regulations.
- Work closely with country managers to adapt and locally execute the defined commercial and marketing strategy for the business unit.
- Resolve potential conflicts and discrepancies between marketing and country managers to ensure that the objectives of the business unit are met efficiently.

Educational Background: - University degree in Health Sciences or Business Administration (ADE), complemented by an MBA.
Professional Experience:
- Approximately 10 years of experience in the Health care/Life sciences sector.
- At least 5 years in roles managing business units, preferably in international environments.
- Proven experience in managing multifunctional and international teams, with a strong focus on sales and marketing.
Skills and Competencies:
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate both executive teams (Country Business Directors) and senior management (CEO).
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills to establish partnerships and resolve conflicts.
- Communication: Effective communication ability, both internally and externally, with the skill to engage with various areas of the organisation and key stakeholders.
- Languages: Advanced level of English, with additional languages such as French, German, or Italian viewed positively.
Approach and Philosophy:
- Holistic approach to health, with experience in companies dealing with dietary supplements or nutraceuticals.
- Leadership by influence, possessing persuasive and convincing abilities.
- Cooperative spirit for effective collaboration with Corporate Departments (Finance, Operations, Human Resources, IT, and R&D).
