Global Business Excellence Manager Applied (d/f/m)

The Global Business Excellence Manager Applied delivers the global business and go-to-market strategy for the defined product, portfolio and/or region and ensures close alignment with Product & Application Management (P&AM), Regional Units (RU), Global Marketing (GM) and within the Global Business Excellence (BE) organization.


  • Support the development of the long-term growth strategy in alignment with the Business Unit (BU) strategy, Regional Units (RU) and LMS growth strategies and maintain business partnerships

  • Develop and support business/sales plans and channel strategies for existing and new product lines in alignment with market buying preferences

  • Define specific plans and budgets for selling to new customers as well as selling products and services to existing customers and for customer retention

  • Develop effective go-to-market strategies and programs with Regional Units (RU), Product Management (PM) and Global Marketing (GM)

  • Design and deliver training programs aligned with product management (PM), application and Regional Units (RU) to help channels focus on selling the products

  • Develop and execute global customer events

  • Analyse the positioning and pricing of the product portfolio based on the regional market situation (e.g. through customer surveys, validation of urgent problems)

  • Create tools for sales representatives to focus on a specific step of the sales process and develop relevant content


  • Degree in biological sciences or engineering; in addition, MD, MBA or PhD

  • 5 years of professional experience in Applied Industry or any other High-Tech Industry – ideally in an international environment

  • 5 years professional experience in Sales/Marketing/Product Management

  • Proficient in English and ideally German (spoken & written), other languages are a plus

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
