Global Benefits Sales Leader, EMEA – Flexible across locations in EMEA

We are looking for someone with significant experience in the global benefits to lead our sales efforts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This sales leader will work directly with the Global Benefits CCO, the EMEA GB leadership team, and the EMEA Human Capital CCO in driving a defined sales strategy for global benefits, passionate about targeting new clients, building pipeline and gaining introductions for our services that can be supported by the Global Benefits & International Wealth broking and consulting teams. This person will lead sales personally and be active in the market. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work both virtually and from our offices in EMEA.

What the day will look like

  • Drive targeting new logo opportunities for global benefit (including International Wealth) sales, leveraging the full breadth of Aon’s current relationships to expand new business.

  • Create and lead a robust pipeline.

  • Attend industry events and work with marketing and regional leadership to expand market presence and brand recognition.

  • Build internal awareness of opportunity through the various distribution channels

  • Personal sales goal

    Organizing Target Lists:

  • Handle lists of target clients for GB/IW across EMEA – working in partnership with the global team, regional Human Capital team and Enterprise Client Group (ECG) to identify both white space and new logo opportunities.

  • Creating country commercial plans with GB/Health leadership in country

    Role on Client Team

  • Track progress on sales execution for target lists.

  • Personally lead sales and client teams

  • Connect with target clients via e-mail, social media, as well as in person and telephone with objective of crafting leads for consulting teams.

  • Mentor and lead sales professionals in region to deliver on their targets.

  • Partner with EMEA domestic teams to ensure collaboration and a joined up approach for targeted opportunities.

    Managing Intellectual Capital

    Coordinate all GB/IW practice intellectual capital (surveys, whitepapers, newsletters, etc..) as well as existing marketing and new client materials (i.e.

  • GB service line PPT’s), with goal of making it easier for consultants and sales team to connect with targeted clients.

  • Partner with regional marketing on events calendar and collateral, together with regional domestic commercial teams and ECG.

  • Contribute to Aon’s GB/IW ‘sales narrative’

    Client Facing

  • Have regular connections with internal Aon business practice leads and sales channels and with targeted clients through social media and in person and virtual opportunities, and coach team members to do the same.

    Relationship

  • Anticipate and address internal and external client needs and establish relationships to help drive sales opportunities.

    Regional Sales Leadership

  • Set targets, lead performance of and mentor sales professionals within region, in partnership and collaboration with regional CCO.

  • Proactively lead pipeline and communicate this within region and countries

  • Ensure a client-centered and Aon United mindset across the team. .

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Ten plus years global benefits (strongly preferred) or large market health sales experience

  • Outstanding consultative skills

  • Demonstrates high quality client interaction and comprehensive sales/ marketing skills

  • Strong collaboration and team mindset, willingness to partner and lead through influence across different parts of the organization

  • Participates in training opportunities to stay current with all key global benefit consulting topics and research

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field or equivalent years of industry experience.
