Job description
Oversee Month-End Close in General Ledger
- Full scope of month-end responsibilities – preparing and posting recurring or one-time journal entries, finalizing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving open items alongside local finance colleagues, and maintaining fixed asset records with precise monthly depreciation.
Lead a Skilled Finance Team
- Inspire and support a dedicated group of 11 finance specialists, guaranteeing accurate month-end closings, effective internal cash oversight, and delivery of key financial metrics and cost center insights.
Cultivate Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong alliances with global finance partners, promoting the exchange of best practices, harmonizing processes, and advancing broader strategic objectives.
Champion Operational Improvements
- Identify opportunities for optimization, advocate the adoption of innovative tools and systems, and take an active part in company-wide financial initiatives.
Maintain High-Quality Output
- Consistently track performance using quality checks and KPI evaluations, ensuring deliverables align with organizational expectations and contribute to financial gains.
Collaborate with Auditors
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to meet firm policy requirements and regulatory standards, mitigating potential risks while safeguarding financial credibility.

- Possess a proven track record overseeing end-to-end General Ledger processes, coordinating intercompany netting, and utilizing SLAs, KPIs, and SOPs to positively impact business results.
- Demonstrate strong academic and professional credentials in accounting, reflecting robust technical acumen and in-depth knowledge of industry standards.
- Exhibit a history of effectively guiding and mentoring teams, driving them toward consistent operational excellence.
- Showcase hands-on involvement in finance or accounting roles – ideally within a SSC or BPO.
- Communicate fluently in both English and Polish, backed by practical competence in SAP and MS Office to ensure informed, data-oriented decision-making.
