We currently offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role
-Responsible for providing quality service to stakeholders, ensuring financially correct accounting statements and reporting, intercompany reconciliations, internal and SOX controls – meeting the SLA targets set for the Team

-Responsible for adopting standard processes and pursuing efficiencies within the team and area of responsibility

-Responsible for daily management of Team resources, also supports the R2R Tower Lead in team development, career planning and recruitment of employees.

-Ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting compliance

-Maintain internal and SOX controls for data integrity and regulatory adherence

-Drive process standardization and efficiency within the team

-Collaborate with auditors, consolidation teams, and stakeholders, and support team development and recruitment

Experience Required
-An advanced experience in a Shared Services environment, of which at least some as a GL Team Lead

-Master’s or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting

-Chartered Accountant certification and US GAAP experience is a plus

-SAP Finance experience

-Experience leading teams (5+ employees) and growing their talent

-Knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular

-Practical experience managing operations’ performance (SLAs, KPIs)

-Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus

-Fluent in English – Polish and additional European languages an asset

-Practical knowledge of internal controls (SOX) a plus

-Availability to travel during the Transition phase – and then occasionally
