We are looking for finance professionals highly motivated and willing to take a step further in their careers by joining our team.
Exciting and challenging opportunity working in an American multinational chemical company. The accountant will be responsible for the execution of Record to Report (“RTR”) EMEA tasks within the Financial Shared Service functions in accordance with the Group Policies, local and US GAAP requirements, agreed service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
The successful candidate will actively participate in the development of the team, helping with possible implementations/system changes, transition of activities, and collaborate in the continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure a streamlined and efficient team over the regional FSS functions.
What will you be doing?
Your tasks will contain the following
-Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and General Ledger accounts analysis
-Accounting and handling of Accruals & Provisions and Wages & Salary related accounts
-Fixed Asset accounting
-Participate in closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly),
-Contact with partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT)
-Contact with local colleagues/departments from different countries
-Contact with auditors, tax consultants
-Data providing (Auditors, Statistic Office)
-Responsible for USGAAP and Local accounting rules
Who are You?
We are looking for you if you have
-University or College degree in Finance/Accounting or Certified Chartered Accountant
-Intermediate English knowledge
-Ability to work independently, reliability
-Min 3 years relevant experience in Accounting and bookkeeping
What would be considered as advantages:
-Familiarity with SAP or JDE (ERP softwares)
-Black Line knowledge
-Strong excel knowledge
-Accounting office experience is welcome
-SSC experience

-to have some experience with ERP systems, SAP/JDE experience preferable,

-strong financial, IT and analytical skills coupled with operational focus,
-strong customer service focus,
-ability to think analytically, focus on the big picture, yet to be able to drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understand how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Finance.
