Could you be one of the people getting to work on the cutting edge of this exciting industry?You’ll be working with our team to deliver geospatial analytics for desktop and cloud-based based on our industry-leading image analysis software ecosystem, ENVI. Customers range from big to small, from blue chip to startup, from domain experts to end-users. We help them get the answers they need from remote sensed data through our enterprise and desktop-based applications.The role requires the ability to deliver high class software alongside offering a consultative, customer facing approach. To succeed you will be a confident software developer in the geospatial domain. The role requires interaction with team members across Europe and the US, and with customers, so the ability to communicate professionally is vital.We’re looking for people who are excited by this environment and have a good mix of programming and geospatial analysis skills.   • Working in an interdisciplinary, international team with geospatial analytics developers, solution architects, and software engineers.
  • Developing and deploying geospatial analytics using our ENVI software suite.
  • Consider both technical and customer needs.
  • Staying abreast of new developments geospatial analytics.
  • Working at customer sites up to 40% of time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-, geo- or natural sciences, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in working with remote sensing data. Experience in image analytics development in the geospatial domain is a plus.
  • 1+ years software development skills with proven proficiency in a mainstream language such as C/C++, Java, Python, IDL, Matlab.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation with the ability to multitask.
  • Italian nationality and eligibility for national security clearances in Italy is mandatory.
  • Written and verbal fluency in Italian and English are mandatory.
