Geography Teacher/Professional – SwindonProtocol Education are working with secondary schools in the Swidon area to appoint enthusiastic and committed Geography Teachers/Professionals. With that in mind, we are looking for individuals who carry a passion for Geography, working with young people and making a positve impact on their lives and education.Although QTS would be preferred, school will accept subject specialists or those with experience working with young people or in education in another capactity.Start Date: ASAPClosing Date: 31/10/24Qualified Teachers paid to scaleUnqualified – based on experienceJob Duties:Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students – IF UNQUALIFIED, no planning and marking requiredAssess and evaluate student progress and provide feedbackDevelop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learningEstablish a positive and supportive learning environmentCollaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student supportRequired Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Preferred but not essentialDegree/Experience in Geography or related fieldStrong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Geography
