Some of the responsibilities involved in this position are:
* Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Plan and deliver dynamic, hands-on geography lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students.
* Foster a love for geography and exploration, encouraging students to investigate and analyse the world around them.
* Contribute to the design and development of an innovative geography curriculum that emphasises global perspectives and environmental awareness.
* Lead and participate in geography-related extracurricular activities, field trips, and clubs.
The following qualifications &skills are required to work as a geography teacher:
* Outstanding communication skills and inter-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* An enhanced DBS on the update service
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* 2 proven professional references
* Establish strict guidelines for pupil’s behaviour
* Possess a strong enthusiasm for instructing and the ability to organise and present engaging classes.
* Flexibility and adaptability are necessary to function in many educational settings.
* Strong familiarity with curricular standards, teaching strategies, and geographic material.
