At COWI’s Reality Capture team, you will be integrated into our renowned Transportation unit. Our diverse team of engineers and surveyors adopts a multidisciplinary approach to provide expert consultancy on some of Denmark’s most significant construction and infrastructure projects.In our Reality Capture team, you will tackle technical tasks for COWI’s major infrastructure projects while simultaneously exploring niche markets, particularly in laser scanning, drones, and land surveying. Our recent projects include virtual inspections on many of Denmark’s prominent bridges, including Storstrømsbroen, Farøbroen, and Lillebæltsbroen. Additionally, we collect and process laser scanning data for data centers and large building portfolios, as well as engage in street image data collection for COWI Multiviewer.A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER
In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with your colleagues on exciting national and international infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility in our team will be to enhance our reality capture operations by strategizing, gathering, and analyzing data related to various infrastructure projects.
On a day-to-day basis, you will, among other things:
- Plan and organize data collection and processing in connection with infrastructure, Building and Industry projects
- Process and collect data by UAV
- Execute laser scanning at various infrastructure projects and deliver accurate design basis that fits our digital delivery workflows
- Develop and maintain connections with clients while embodying a capable and insightful presence in your industry
- Continuously develop and fine tune our services to meet our customers’ need.
Your days at work will consist of a combination of field work such as collecting data and exciting academic tasks within data processing and customer contact.YOUR SKILLS. OUR TEAM. TOGETHER, WE DESIGN THE FUTURE

To perform well in this position, we believe that you should be someone who collaborates well with others, with a tech-mindset, great communicative skills and a sincere interest in geographical data and the acquisition of it.
Furthermore, you should:
- Preferably hold a university degree potentially within eg. engineering, land surveying, geography/GIS or the like
- Have 3-10 years of experience with UAV data and laser scanning collection or the like
- Have experience with GIS
- Be familiar with photogrammetry and/or lidar
- Have great communicative skills in English both written and verbally
- Insight into UAV operations and experience with SORA applications is an advantage
A UAV certificate is not required and can be obtained during the employment.
