I am searching for an experienced General Manager to oversee a high-end luxury resort in Zadar, Croatia. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven background in premium hospitality environments.

Your Experience

* Previous senior management experience within a luxury hotel or resort
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire large teams
* Solid understanding of operational standards within upscale hospitality
* Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and performance reporting
* Strong guest-focused mindset with an eye for quality and service improvement
* Fluent in English; Croatian preferred; additional languages are an advantage
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with high expectations

Your Responsibilities

* Oversee daily resort operations, ensuring consistency and high-quality service
* Lead, support, and mentor department managers and operational teams
* Maintain strong guest satisfaction through proactive service and professional handling of feedback
* Manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting
* Implement operational improvements and maintain brand standards
* Support recruitment, training, and development of staff
* Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and operational regulations
* Contribute to long-term planning and ongoing strategic goals
