This exciting opportunity is perfect for a leader with strategic vision, commercial expertise, and a passion for operational excellence. You will oversee our Value Added production facility, drive local market expansion, and champion sustainability initiatives while ensuring profitability and team success.Responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage the full P&L for the Belgium business unit, ensuring profitability and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and execute a market strategy tailored to Value Added products, focusing on local market needs.
  • Drive revenue growth through business development, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing market share.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Value Added production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives within the production facility, aligning with the company’s environmental goals.
  • Collaborate with European leadership and cross-functional teams to refine strategies and align processes.
  • Leverage market insights and data analytics to optimise operations and inform decision-making.

RequirementsEssential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in commercial roles, including P&L ownership.
  • Extensive experience managing Value Added or similar product categories, focusing on production.
  • Strong understanding of the fresh produce or food industry, particularly within the European market.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement successful market strategies and build strong client relationships.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or Flemish.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Experience in leading production facilities or operational teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices within the food sector.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
