ING is looking for an innovative and curious Model Risk Manager to support oversight of Generative AI and Advanced Analytics models portfolioWe are looking for you if you:

  • Have an academic degree and at least 2-5 years of related work experience in risk or compliance related department.
  • Are familiar with GenAI /AI models in terms of techniques applied, emerging risks and recommended controls.
  • Have an experience in working with policies, procedures, and regulatory documents.
  • Are persuasive and have a successful track record in managing relationships with internal stakeholders. Good listener and interviewer, receptive to the feedback from the stakeholders.
  • Are familiar with working with databases.
  • Are well structured, autonomous, pragmatic, and flexible team player.
  • Have good communication skills, verbally and in writing, with a top-down mindset able to provide relevant messages various stakeholders.

English level: C1/C2We are looking for a colleague who has experience on model risk management topics or a background which allows to quickly develop model risk related knowledge.Your key responsibilities:As GenAI Model Risk Manager, you will work closely with model risk managers and other colleagues from Model Risk and Validation tribes dedicated to review of GenAI models to assure compliance of GenAI and Advanced Analytics domain with internal procedures and policies.Furthermore, you:

  • Coordinate GenAI part of the Advance Analytics portfolio in terms of all relevant governance processes
  • Work closely with Model Risk Expert to assure overall domain’s compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Support 1st line in procedure and policies related questions
  • Support data quality assurance in global model inventory
  • Supporting 1st line in all model inventory related queries – registrations, record updates, decommissions
  • Support colleagues from the Model Risk Chapter squad in stakeholders’ management, sending communications and participation in MoRM related sessions for the 1st line
  • Preparing data, reports and presentations on model risk for various stakeholders

Information about the team:Our Model Risk Oversight (MRO) tribe is an energetic, international, and diverse team of highly qualified Model Risk Managers and Model Risk Framework experts based in Amsterdam and Warsaw. MRO is responsible for the design and implementation of ING’s global Model Risk Management (MoRM) framework and tooling which scope covers all models used within ING Bank worldwide. The tribe aims to proactively manage model risks by guiding global and local communities in the execution of the model lifecycle activities, performing effective and efficient 2nd LoD challenge and oversight across ING’s model landscape, and monitoring and reporting on model risks.Following model risk regulations’ evolution, market practices, fast development of new technologies and years of experience from of ING’s MoRM Framework implementation, MRO is currently reshaping the vision of its framework with the objective to go to the next level of maturity, focusing on increasing the collaboration with the 1st LoD as a pro-active and independent strategic partner and staying ahead of the game in the current fast evolving environment.
