Ability to articulate and present complex data in a user-friendly format. This role will train, coach and consult with functional process owners within Stericycle on the needs for materials. Once it is determined new materials are needed, this role is also responsible for creating BOM (bill of material) for materials where this is required.Key Job Activities:Lead cross-functional teams to create material master attributes, train on steps to create, modify or inactivate materials in MDG. This includes internal and external customer/stakeholders.Monitor SSO for tickets regarding material master. Ensure tickets are being handled appropriately and within defined SLA’s.Work closely with business unit team members to identify when materials are requesting materials outside the standard process. Recommend and facilitate workable solutions with stakeholders.Monitor SSO tickets that were created that may need a bill of material (BOM) created.Review materials not being used on a semi-annual basis to confirm data is current. Work with other stakeholders to determine if a material should be marked as inactive to ensure the database always remains accurate.Support broader process and procedure projects as needed including assisting other business endeavours, acquisitions and/or countries initiating D365/SAP/MDG.Education:Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or related field.Experience (EMEAA):Five or more years of experience in leading master data governance initiatives in material management, transportation management, and distribution centre/warehouse managementGood understanding of Business Systems – SAP, Coupa, POE/OMS, Salesforce, Steriworks, Omnitracs RoadNet, Descartes or similar Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Foundational understanding of Product, Services, Supplies etc. master data creation / maintenance and the business processes around them.Strong understanding of North America business processes and its data usage across the enterpriseExperience working with SAP Master Data Governance or similar Data Governance tool or environment within the Material / Product Domain.Ability to set the strategy regarding the Materials Master Data Domain its usage and governance across the Enterprise.Provides oversight, ownership, and sign off authority of project deliverables and drives project issues, tasks, and deliverables towards a resolution.Partner with program process leadership to align on Business Process Design and Key Data Elements within the Material Master Domain space.Strong understanding of Material Master Best Practices with the ability to help guide business teams towards viable long-lasting solutions.Experience in rationalizing all SAP Material Master Data objects and their associated attributes.Experience converting data from Legacy ERP systems into SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANACoordinates the establishment of a Data Governance Council and acts as the Material Master voice for business processes.Facilitates and drives decisions around data conversion/cleansing rules for migrating materials master data to the ERP system.Knowledge of SAP FI-CO integration with materials management.Drive business alignment on key decisions in collaboration with Global Business Process Leads.Experience in leveraging Vertex tax software with SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA.Certifications and/or Licenses:Benefits:Stericycle offers you:
