This is your chance to join the C&A team as Garment Technician in our Vilvoorde office!

Your responsibilities
-Oversee the entire technical sampling process from concept to final approval for specific product categories.
-Manage fit sessions, ensure timely communication with suppliers, and meet critical deadlines for technical fit and sampling.
-Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and suppliers to create accurate product specs, graded measurements, and fit charts from initial sample to production.
-Ensure product quality and fit consistency through store visits, supplier coaching, and addressing issues proactively.
-Lead product risk assessments, raising concerns with the Technical Manager, and take responsibility for project work based on company needs.

What you bring

-Professional qualifications in Design, Industrial Engineering, or related fields with at least 7 years of experience.
-Strong expertise in design, product development, manufacturing processes, pattern making, grading, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
-Proficient in MS Office Suite, PDM/PLM systems, and fluent in English, especially in manufacturing and engineering contexts.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, combined with good organizational skills and time management abilities.
-In-depth knowledge of textiles, finishing techniques, manufacturing processes, and 3D development systems.
