Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture existing gaming communities, with a focus on LEGO video games and our partnership with Epic Games for LEGO Fortnite.

  • Build and implement strategies toestablishnew gaming communities where they currently do not exist, working closely with colleagues in GAME and other relevant areas.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure cohesive community strategies that align with overall businessobjectives.

  • Utilisedata and insights to advise and adjust community engagement strategies, ensuring they meet the needs and interests of our audience.

  • Serve as a key member of the Community Management and Moderation (CMM) extended leadership team, supportingengagersand ensuring a clear, effective strategy for engaging with kids and gamers.

  • Foster meaningful connections within gaming communities,emphasisingsafety, inclusivity, and positive interactions.

  • Actively engage with the community across various platforms to capture feedback,monitorsentiment, and address concerns promptly. Use this feedback to inform game development teams and improve user experience.

  • Help enforce community guidelines tomaintaina safe, respectful environment. Educate community members on digital safety and ensure The LEGO Group’s gaming communities are inclusive and welcoming to all players.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience within the gaming industry, particularly in community management and moderation for kids’ or gaming communities.

  • A track recordofestablishingand/or growing digital communities.

  • Knowledge of the video game value creation chain, including insights into gamerbehaviourand preferences.

  • Experience working with social platforms, forums, and other digital mediums to target and engage with gamers.

  • Digitally savvy, with the ability to use technology and social media platforms to cultivate community engagement.

  • Relevant qualifications in media, communication, digital marketing, or related fields are a plus.
