The Centre Manager is to provide leadership and strategic direction to the education centre staff, delivering a first-class service to all stakeholders, whilst providing support on all day to day operations. This is a proactive role requiring you to ‘get out’ in the community and build relationships with key stakeholders, whilst managing the financial and operational performance of the facilities.Role Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for recruitment, induction, training, appraisal, development and performance management of staff including HR procedures and management of all KPIs
  • Manage all staff rotas and compliance to meet the needs of the business
  • Maximise sports revenue through the development of our all- weather football and hockey propositions
  • Meet and exceed all sales plans on a weekly, monthly and annual basis and responsibility for all sales and coordination bookings
  • Identify opportunities for all campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Develop, implement and constantly strive to improve an operational business plan for the centre
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify how the Centre’s performance can be improved both operationally and financially
  • Ensure all costs are kept within agree plan and continuously seek to achieve efficiencies and reduce costs where possible
  • Identify opportunities for external funding which support business aims and objectives
  • Ensure security measures and policies relating to cash, stock and assets are implemented
  • Manage to building, equipment and materials to ensure their effective use and the safety of all staff and visitors
  • Consult with service users, partners, stakeholders and employees alike with the aim of maximizing participation and improving customer satisfaction
  • Meet regularly with the key Centre Partners
  • Work closely with Mill Farm to organize promotional and marketing activity
  • Must work all AFC Fylde match days and Bank Holidays
