Fundraising Research & Development ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity an experienced Fundraising Research Manager to work on a maternity leave contract with a national charity, you will be responsible for leading a Philanthropy and Partnership’s Central Team.Position: Prospect Research and Donor Development Manager (internal title)Location: Homebased with some travelSalary: £46,581 per annum plus excellent benefits, pro rataHours: Full time, 35 hours per weekContract: Maternity cover 9 – 12 monthsAbout the role:As Fundraising Research & Development Manager you will work with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and other senior leaders to identify funders, advise on their capacity to support the charity’s work and assist in the development of strategic corporate, major donor and foundation relationships that deliver agreed income targets and achieve the organisation’s ambition for income streams.Key responsibilities include:

• Prospect identification and engagement
• Donor development and stewardship
• Prospect and donor/supporter information management
• Leadership and management
• Relationships and engagement

About you:You will need to have a track record within the Not-For-Profit sector you will also need the following skills and experience:

• Experience of prospect identification and qualification
• Team management experience and ability to inspire and develop staff
• Database management and experience of using a fundraising CRM system
• Knowledge of the range of prospecting and donor engagement tools available in the marketplace
• Knowledge of the UK philanthropy and partnerships landscape
