Fund Valuation Services Intern – M/W

Responsibilities

The candidate will primarily oversee NAV calculation activities, with a particular focus on performing second-level checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data produced. The candidate will be also responsible for reconciliation processes related to pension funds and ensuring data integrity and process alignment.

A key part of the position includes supporting the offshored teams in managing the integration of trades, corporate actions, manual bookings of OTC instruments, and overall NAV-related operations, including the pricing of various types of financial instruments.

The candidate will also supervise reconciliation activities carried out by the offshore teams and assist in resolving outstanding breaks for our clients.

Finally, the resource will support the team with the closing, the validation and delivering of NAVs to SGSS’ clients, as well as preparing and distributing periodic reconciliation reports to both external clients and internal teams.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Calculation of portfolio valuation (NAV) with GP4 tool
  • Management, monitoring, and updating of the clients’ portfolio prices
  • Production and sending of reports to clients
  • Periodical support activities for operational processes related to the Fund Valuation Services field

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Mathematics or Statystics
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the financial industry

Language skills:

  • Italian: C2
  • English: B2

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
