Job Description:A vacancy for a Function & System Design Responsible in Tactical Mission Management System & Datalink (f/m/d) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.You will join a team of engineers in the “Situational Awareness and Mission Management” department in charge of terrain/weather/threats/traffic awareness functions, vision enhancement and targeting systems, data-links as well as mission management
systems for all (e-)VTOLs.Your mission will consist of system engineering activities and helicopter level integration of mission management systems interfaced with many contributor systems for civil and military helicopters.Your working environment:Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.Your challengesYour main responsibilities will include:Definition and implementation of operational concepts and use cases for Tactical Mission Management Systems & DatalinksTechnical responsible for Tactical Mission Management Systems & DatalinksRequirements engineeringEnsure planning at equipment and helicopter level for development and qualificationAssess suppliers’ offers with other stakeholdersInterface with project management, purchasing, sales department and other project stakeholders throughout the organizationInterface with / management of suppliers and customersManage suppliers during development phaseSupport rig, ground and flight testing of the equipmentEnsure the qualification / certification of equipment and the according functionsApply of agile development methodologyParticipate in offer management and contributing to product sourcing policyBenchmark our solutions with state of the art Tactical Mission Management Systems & DatalinksActively contribute to definition and execution of research and technology (R&T) activities and mission systems product strategySupporting knowledge exchange within Airbus (all divisions)Your profileYou have the following skills and experienceAcademic studies in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similarComprehensive experience in the design, development, engineering and/or integration of mission management systems for aircraftKnowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionicsKnowledge or previous experience of Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks would be advantageA previous experience with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) would be benifitialExperience in Supplier ManagementTeam Spirit, good communication skills and experience in stakeholder managementLanguage skills: English business fluent / negotiation level, knowledge of German, French or Spanish would be an advantageThis position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.Not a 100% match?
