From the beginning you will be responsible for solving practical challenges that our internal partners face using state-of-the-art technology and methods. The team has a portfolio of solutions in productive use as well as in development. The technology setup is a BASF private azure with Kubernetes hosting containerized web applications written in python and JavaScript.RESPONSIBILITIES
- You implement web applications (backend and frontend) in a cross functional team including subject matter experts.
- You monitor existing solutions for stability and performance.
- You will troubleshoot incidents with our internal platform providers.
- You manage CI/CD pipelines.
- You investigate better alternatives to existing solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science, data engineering, backend/frontend development or a closely related discipline
- Capability and experience with Cloud principles (preferably Azure)
- Capability and experience in application development with ASP.Net and/or C#
- Team player, strong communication and presentation skills as well as experience in working in global and diverse teams.
- You bring a structured, analytical approach and focus on quality.
- Work experience with Agile Frameworks or Design Thinking
- Be highly motivated, dynamic, methodical, self-organized, enthusiastic and able to manage projects.
- Outstanding communication skills in English
NICE TO HAVE
- Capability and experience in Cloud DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, docker-compose)
- Knowledge about Infrastructure as code (IaC) preferably terraform.
