We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.Responsibilities:You will be working as part of the team developing a cloud-based product which is being shipped with many of Keysight’s Test Products. You will work alongside other members of the team on developing .NET Core applications, and learn how to write clean, efficient and maintainable code using OOP principles and SOLID design principles. Where necessary you’ll develop automated tests, including Unit Test and Integration Tests. There will be the opportunity to work with front-end frameworks such as Angular to create responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces, and to use CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab to automate the software development process. Finally, you may implement and maintain containerization technologies such as Docker, and participate in code reviews (your code as well as other engineers’ code) to ensure code quality and maintainability.

At the end of your internship you will have gained knowledge and experience in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, as well as developing your understanding of .NET, JavaScript frameworks, SOLID principles, software design patterns, CI/CD tools, containers, and automated testing.Qualifications:Essential Skills

• Currently undertaking Computer Science degree or similar.
• Some software development experience in C#.
• Willing to learn a variety of programming disciplines
• Pro-active team member / problem solver and ability to communicate effectively

Desirable Skills

• Experience working on software outside the academic environment
