Candidate profile (text) – Default language Customer Fulfilment (CFF) is a fundamental part in making IKEA omnichannel retailing a reality. To support IKEA in achieving business objectives, CFF acts as a fully integrated, process-oriented organization with an end-to-end approach to develop our business and deliver results across functions together with our partners. As part of CFF, the function of Unit Manager in Wels contributes to
this objective with the following experiences and skills:
- University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or proven performance in logistics/commercial/supply chain management.
- 4-6 years working experience in a management position (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar).
- Proven successful strategic leadership in a big organization, delivering both business result and people development.
- Experience of leading a management team with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good leadership and collaboration.
- Knowledge of labor laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers etc.).
- Experience in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies and plans and set/follow up goals.
- Analytical skills to understand budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business and proven record of meeting agreed budgets and goals.
- Good coaching and/or mentor, advisory and facilitation skills, conflict management skills and problem-solving experience.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Key responsibilities (text) In this role you are accountable for a customer-centric and high performing operations. Managing the unit by leading, steering, planning, supporting and
following up the operations, the development of the organization as well as cost optimization opportunities; accountable for a strong collaboration and co-creation with key stakeholders, on market and market area level or country. Furthermore you are:
- acting as managing director for the unit in respective legal obligations of the DSP company.
- accountable for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing unit organization and Management Team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
- securing a high customer and co-worker satisfaction at lowest possible cost in an omnichannel scope for good availability, sustainability, and customer order fulfilment, by actively working with Happy Customer Score (not applicable in DC), IKEA Brand Capital (not applicable in DC), iShare survey and Review results.
- accountable for securing excellence in Unit operations with focus on retail foundation, quality, and productivity improvements as well as cost optimization, in line with Country Customer Fulfilment Business Plan and Commercial Direction.
- accountable to create a safe and secure working environment and securing compliance to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures through implementation of new operational processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- securing that the unit is integrated part of the country and market commercial and growth agenda. As well as point of contact in external matters in the municipality and in the area as such.
