Frontend UI/UX Developer Qt / QML / MedTech (f/m/d)

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on the challenges of creating complex medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop modern GUIs utilizing the Qt framework and QML / Qt Quick
• Collaborate closely with a product management for UI/UX design
• Contribute to software architecture design and updates
• Perform functional and unit tests for newly implemented features
• Work closely with the verification team for software integration
• Collaborate with various teams to grasp requirements and ensure smooth integrations
• Ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines based on ISO 62304 (software lifecycle process)
• Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
• Mentor other team members
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and adhere to best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design and development
• Proficiency in software development using in the Qt framework, QML and C++.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and unit testing
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Independent, methodical and structured work approach
• Team player with proficiency in German and English
• Completed specialized education (university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering, or related technical fields

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Experience in continuous integration and automated testing
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
