We seek an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our Internet of Things development team. The successful applicant will work on a Cloud-based software platform to create a connected install base comprising of customer-owned instruments across all product groups.We aim to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness of our products to drive overall customer satisfaction and productivity. Then we would love to hear from you.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop cloud-native, data-driven digital solutions for Leica, channel partners, and its customers.
Consistently deliver readable, maintainable, and efficient software to minimize technical debt.Apply design patterns such as micro-frontends to create modular and maintainable user interfaces.Understand performance, security, and scalability requirements, and build systems to meet those requirements.Drive secure development following industry best practices with a defense in depth mindset, use threat modelling and other tools to identify and mitigate security risks.Work closely with the architecture team on feature designs and reviews.Help drive a culture of high-performance agile development.YOUR PROFILEGraduated with a bachelor / master / PhD degree in Computer Science or “STEM” majors.3+ years of overall software development.Proficiency with web application development (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS), and experience with front-end libraries (Angular preferred).Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patters.Professional Working Proficiency (B2) in English and ability to communicate with technical stakeholders.GET MORE INSIGHTLearn more about what we do and who we are by watching our company video “We Are Leica”:Are you interested to discover new opportunities in an innovative, team-oriented environment?Do apply online – we are looking forward to your application!At Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology.
