Justteachers teaching agency are delighted to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join a secondary school in Downham Market, Norfolk. This full-time position, starting in January 2025, will focus predominantly on teaching French within the MFL curriculum.You will be teaching a high-standard curriculum that will encourage students to have a passion for the subject, allowing them to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students in their language learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals to support their academic growth.
• Create a positive and immersive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning French.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident in their language skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives and projects.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Uphold the school’s ethos and values, promoting a culture of respect, excellence, and inclusivity.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching MFL, with a strong focus on French.
• In-depth knowledge of the French curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering a passion for French language and culture.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
