We are looking for a committed and motivated French teacher to become a part of our exciting team at a Plymouth secondary school. You will be essential in helping our students develop a love of the French language and culture as a French teacher.
This is a long-term position beginning in September!

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic and effective French lessons to students of varying levels.
* Develop a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of topics and language skills.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Encourage critical thinking and intellectual curiosity among students.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
* Organise and supervise extracurricular activities, such as French clubs and field trips.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in French, education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching French at the secondary school level.
* 2 proven professional references.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS update service or is willing a new one.
* Strong knowledge of the French language and culture.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students Commitment to ongoing professional development.
