Freelance Recruiter

Location: Flanders, Belgium (Travel Required)

Are you a versatile recruiter with a knack for seamlessly transitioning between back-office duties and hands-on recruitment tasks? Do you thrive in dynamic environments, adapting swiftly to changing priorities and locations? We’re seeking a proactive and adaptable Freelance Recruiter to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly, managing various recruitment functions while catering to our diverse needs across Flanders.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

* Actively source candidates across all levels, ensuring a steady stream of potential hires.
* Maintain a high-quality pipeline of candidates through proactive outreach and engagement strategies.
* Coordinate recruitment events, including job fairs and internal job days, to attract top talent.
* Craft compelling job advertisements and distribute them effectively through various channels.
* Utilise databases and external resources to identify and screen potential candidates.

Preselection:

* Evaluate candidate applications and conduct preliminary phone interviews to assess suitability.
* Provide constructive feedback to candidates and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to compile a shortlist of qualified candidates.

Selection:

* Conduct in-depth behavioural interviews to assess competencies and cultural fit.
* Interpret external screening reports and integrate findings into the selection process.
* Prepare comprehensive selection reports and salary proposals for successful candidates.
* Facilitate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and external agencies as needed.

Candidate Follow-up:

* Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics with stakeholders.
* Liaise with external agencies for screening and assessment services.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Support various HR functions, including data entry and file maintenance.
* Demonstrate proficiency in HR processes and recruitment methodologies.
* Utilise Dutch language skills at CEFR level C2 for effective communication.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and selection (minimum 3 years).
* Proficiency in conducting behavioural interviews and writing selection reports.
* Familiarity with technical profiles and the ability to assess candidate competencies.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Flexibility to travel throughout Flanders as needed.
