For one of our good clients, we are looking for a freelance Import Export Manager (6 people to manage).

• Oversee and coordinate all regional import and export activities for both commercial and non-commercial goods (NCG).
• Ensure the efficient processing of customs formalities for cross-regional trades.
• Submit customs clearance entries promptly, maintaining adherence to global rules, standards, and regulations established by Global Trade & Customs.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax processes in accordance with local regulations, in alignment with the Global Trade department and its strategies.
• Maintain communication with state customs authorities and other regional regulatory bodies.
• Provide regional expertise to support global initiatives and projects.
• Work closely with Tax and Accounting departments to ensure compliance with country-specific requirements.
• Serve as the primary local contact for Regional Sales regarding cross-border inquiries for existing setups.
• Ensure adherence to global rules, standards, and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs.
• Assist with all international transport matters, including freight invoice approvals and insurance claims.
• Manage the Import/Export (Impex) team, consisting of six members.

• Expertise in regional import and export processes across various cross-border and multimodal flows (train, barge, truck).
• Experience in management.
• Strong grasp of global Trade & Customs regulations for effective regional implementation.
• Comprehensive understanding of the regional market landscape and cross-border trade dynamics.
• Ability to lead and promote collaboration, co-creation, and team development by empowering the Impex team.
• Self-aware, recognizing your impact on others and contributing positively to the team.
• Fluent in English.

Our client is a retail company.Interesting assignment.2 days homeworking/week possible.
